Old Laphroaig is extremely rare and simply magical. This 28-year-old has seen several different casks in its nearly 3 decades. First matured in different-sized casks ranging from quarter casks to full-sized butts, the final blend was then married in sherry casks for its final trip around the sun.

Nose:
heather, dry thyme, and rosemary
 
Taste:
Sweet with baked pears and vanilla notes complemented by salted toffee, burnt wood, marinated grilled meat, and ground black pepper.
 
Finish:
Sweet and peppery with dried spices, cedar, and complex lingering peaty flavor.
